A perfect Gospel for imperfect men. (Part 1)

Why is the gospel perfect?

Let's first take a look at an essential part of the gospel; the law, the ten commandments, God's holy and moral standard for living. And it's purpose in evangelism, here are the main three...

1. When using it (the law) as prescribed in the Bible, it WILL stop the mouth from justifying the flesh. (Romans 3:19)

19 Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

2. It'll act as a mirror to the sinners conscience. (James 1:23-25)

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

3. The law is perfect converting the soul. And it makes the wise simple. (Psalms 19:7)

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
